How to Report Game Compatibility in SCCM Retro

SCCM Retro has a built-in community compatibility system. You rate how a game runs on your Switch, the launcher attaches your settings and hardware for you, and everyone’s reports build a shared database that recommends the best settings for each game. This covers how to report a game, how to read the community data, and the contributor leaderboard.

Before you can report

To keep the data comparable, you can submit reports once you have run the RAM OC tuner on your console. If you have not, the report screen points you to Settings and the RAM OC tab. See the RAM Overclock Tool guide to run it.

Reporting a game

Press A on a game and choose Compatibility.

The per-game Compatibility panel with a Report Compatibility button

The first time you report, you agree to a short notice: your rating and settings are shared anonymously, your Discord name shows on the public leaderboard, and no device or network identifiers are ever shared. Then you pick how the game runs.

The rating step asking how the game runs, with four options

The four ratings are:

  • Doesn’t Launch
  • Unplayable Framerate
  • Some Slowdowns
  • Perfect Play

After the rating you can tag any issues you saw, and this step is optional:

  • Graphical glitches
  • Audio crackle or desync
  • Crashes
  • Freezes or hangs
  • Slowdown in specific areas
  • Input lag
  • Black screen
  • Save or load problems

Then submit. You can add written notes later from your phone on the console’s :8097 page.

Note: The launcher attaches the rest for you: your overclock profile and per-game tweaks, your console type, whether you are docked or handheld, and the launcher version. You never type any of that.

Using community reports

The Compatibility panel also shows how other players rated a game on the same kind of console as yours. When enough people agree on a setup, an “Apply recommended” option appears that sets the game to the community’s settings in one step. For safety, only named performance profiles and reversible per-game tweaks are applied this way. Raw memory overclock values are never pushed from community data.

The leaderboard and linking Discord

Open Settings and go to the Contributions tab. It shows your rank on the leaderboard, lets you link or unlink your Discord account, and has a Switch Lite toggle (since Switch Lites have slightly less cpu/gpu power due to the smaller battery).

To link Discord, choose Link Discord on the Contributions tab, then open the short link it shows on your phone and approve it with Discord. The console starts the link, and your phone finishes it.

You earn points for reporting: plus one for each new game you report, and a plus four bonus if you are the first to report a game and someone later agrees with your rating. Your Discord name is the only thing shown publicly.
